Job Description

Forbes Marketplace is looking for an experienced team leader to join our Performance Media team with a focus on supporting one of our Forbes' verticals.

The position, reporting into our SEM Director, will help Forbes Marketplace performance marketing across paid search. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a unique blend of managerial skills, ability to delegate responsibilities to junior members of the team, while also demonstrating a hands-on approach, eagerly diving into the details to personally contribute to the success of our paid search initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with performance media leadership team to define and execute performance marketing strategy across defined verticals.
  • Build, manage, monitor and execute the performance marketing strategy across defined verticals.
  • Work with various stakeholders across global offices to align with business goals.
  • Lead with best performance marketing practices, and continuously improve marketing opportunities across the verticals.
  • Holistically approach all paid marketing channels and align those efforts cross functionally across Forbes.
  • Provide regular reporting for related KPIs.
  • Conduct performance reviews and work with direct reports on career development.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven 5+ years’ experience in PPC/SEM working on Google and Microsoft ads.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools.
  • Experience using external competitive research tools such as SEM Rush, Google search console. 
  • Proficiency in managing moderate to large scale PPC accounts.
  • Proven experience using smart bidding 
  • Google Ads / Bing certification, a plus
  • Experience using an automated bidding platform such as Search Ads 360, Kenshoo, Marin, a plus.
