We are currently looking for an energetic and highly motivated Finance Intern (f/m/d) to join our international team in Berlin. You will work closely with our Finance Manager and the founders of foodcircle. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and has a high level of attention to details. The position requires 40 hours a week. 

Your responsibilities:

• Assist the Finance team with payment transactions, invoice management, accounting and reports
• Liaise with other operations teams, e.g. Business Development, Logistics, to solve customer requests regarding invoices and payments
• Learn about tax rules and accounting. 
• Take on various team administrative tasks and support various Finance projects
• Ensure quality, accuracy and consistency.

• You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor/Master degree in finance, economics, or a similar field.
• You ensure compliance with organizational guidelines and procedures.
• You are analytical, organized and you have an independent way of working. 
• ​​​​​​​You have a meticulous attention to details.
• A good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• You have a proactive attitude and are willing to give any task to set your best effort!
• Ideally but not mandatory: prior experience in a similar position within a start-up or growing organization.
• You speak English fluently.
