Job Description

The Role

We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer specialised in event marketing to join our team. In your role, you will oversee the entire design process -- from concept development to execution – creating content that aligns with our brand identity and resonates with our audience. You'll be the guardian of our brand aesthetics, maintaining our high-quality standards and reinforcing our brand consistency.  

You will be a pivotal part of our event team, collaborating closely with stakeholders across the business. Your designs will not only surpass project briefs but also inspire our sales, marketing, operations and production teams. 

Your mission is to continuously monitor and optimize our design campaigns. Using your analytical skills, you'll turn data into actionable insights, driving continuous improvement and enhancing customer engagement.  

In this fast-paced environment, your passion, motivation, and flexibility will be key. As a team player, you'll nurture relationships with external production and design agencies, contributing to the delivery of successful campaigns.  

In essence, your role as a Digital Designer is to craft visual stories that inform our customers, build trust in our brand, and motivate action. Through your creativity and expertise, you will play an integral role in shaping our brand narrative and driving our business forward.  

Principal Accountabilities

  • Produce artwork for event campaigns that can be adapted across the whole event cycle – so pre-event online campaigns, website elements through to the onsite branding experience  

  • Designing portfolio branding to bring a cohesive approach to how customers experience Fastmarkets events 

  • Oversee the entire design process. From concept development to execution, ensure every design element aligns with our brand identity and resonates with our audience. Implementing efficient workflows, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality assets  

  • Design creative elements with the marketing team specific to the channels they are being used on 

  • Uphold Fastmarkets’ high-quality standards, ensuring all designs surpass project briefs and align with our brand guidelines, plus give input into event-specific brand guidelines  

  • Monitor the performance of our design campaigns, reporting on key metrics, and optimizing strategies based on the results 

  • Develop and implement branding strategies for events, including theme development, logo design, colour schemes, and visual identity guidelines. 

  • Collaborate with the event operations team on onsite branding, design templates and signage. Ensuring that each event aligns with our brand identity and delivers a memorable experience for attendees.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, driven, and have a passion to be part of a fast-paced, successful team. Being a strong team player is also important as well as someone who is happy to work flexibly.

  • Progressive experience in design, demonstrable experience in leading design within B2B marketing and delivery 

  • Experience in events design is strongly preferred  

  • Excellent graphic design and storytelling skills  

  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels  

  • Proficiency in creating multimedia content, including video, interactive designs and data visualization 

  • Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, typography, and brand consistency 

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, and other design tools 

  • Collaborative team player, able to work effectively with various stakeholders across the company  

  • Experience working with external partners to deliver designs 

  • Experience in building an effective design strategy and operation  

  • Fluent in marketing measurements and using marketing metrics in optimizing designs
