Job Title : Oracle DBA
Location: RTP, NC
Duration: 6 months and may get extended

Administering day to day operational support for Production database Environment on Oracle Area.

Responsibilities
• Provides day-to-day operational support of test and production database environments
• Performs analysis, develops, tests, and implements complex physical database infrastructures in support of business application requirements
• Trains user groups on procedures and standards
• Performs related duties as assigned or requested

Possession of skills in core database management areas including:
• Database Administration (9i, 10g, 11g.12c)
• DBMS Object Management
• RAC, ASM migrations
• Database Backup and Recovery Management by using RMAN
• Oracle utilities like Datapump, Export/Import, tkprof, StatsPack, AWR and ADDM report generation.
• Dataguard/Standby Database setup and maintenance
• Database Migrations/Upgrades
• Oracle Database /SQL performance tuning
• Database Operations
• DBMS Standards Management
• Oracle on Linux/Solaris/AIX experience
