Job Description

  • Deliver senior‑level consulting across enterprise billing platforms, supporting SaaS solutions and in‑house Oracle‑based systems
  • Translate complex functional and regulatory requirements into well‑structured billing solution designs.
  • Contribute to solution options and detailed designs for medium to large billing initiatives under defined architectural direction.
  • Work closely with billing SMEs and business users refine pricing and billing processes.
  • Support delivery teams through build and test phases, helping resolve complex billing logic or data issues.
  • Apply established billing patterns, standards, and practices to improve solution quality and consistency.

 

Summary of Primary Responsibilities

  • Produce high‑quality functional and technical designs for enterprise billing changes and integrations.
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert for billing models including subscriptions and usage‑based charging.
  • Support implementation activities by providing design clarification, impact analysis, and defect triage.
  • Collaborate with SMEs and business users to validate requirements and propose effective solution options.
  • Participate in system migrations or SaaS onboarding activities, supporting transition and stabilization phases.
  • Ensure delivered solutions align with defined controls, compliance requirements, and operational support models.

Qualifications

 

  • 5+ years of experience working on enterprise billing systems, either SaaS‑based (e.g. Aria, Zuora, Salesforce Billing) or custom‑built platforms.
  • Solid understanding of end‑to‑end billing lifecycles including pricing, rating, and invoicing.
  • Proven track record contributing effectively to delivery teams across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting large‑scale transformations, platform migrations, or major billing enhancements.
  • Hands‑on experience with Oracle technologies such as PL/SQL, Oracle APEX, or Oracle databases.
  • Explain billing solutions to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
