Job Description

As the Software Engineer, Scripting, you will report to Experian Health. You will design, develop, and deploy functional applications, and function as an important role in implementation, testing, and deploying software solutions. You have expertise building efficient programs and systems that serve user needs, in an Agile programming environment.

You'll have opportunity to:

  • Research, implement, and maintain software solutions using VB.NET and C#
  • Test and evaluate new programs and applications
  • Reverse engineering and debugging existing projects and solutions
  • Identify areas for improvement and modification in existing solutions
  • Resolve complex technical design issues
  • Compile comprehensive, and accurate documentation and reports
  • Support the coaching of other team members
  • You will review code to ensure quality and coding standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years' healthcare revenue cycle experience
  • 2+ years Integrated Scripting Development experience
  • 5+ years' related experience in a software development role using .NET technologies
  • Experience with VB.NET and C#
  • SQL, JavaScript, or Rest API and understanding of High Availability Design and Architecture are beneficial
  • Have worked in an Agile environment
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo and Octopus is beneficial
  • Adapt quickly to existing infrastructure (comprised of several languages and back-end data)

Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education.
