Job Description
Join a dynamic and talented Global Technology team working to support and improve Expeditors’ regional technology operations across endpoint management and regional data center environments.
The Engineer I - Global Technology - Technology Services is responsible for supporting and administering Windows endpoint technologies across the geography, while also managing regional data center operational activities, vendor coordination, hardware procurement, remote hands services, billing, circuits, and infrastructure support.
This role works closely with Global end point system team, local GT teams, vendors, and regional leadership to ensure endpoint devices and regional data centers remain secure, compliant, stable, scalable, and aligned with global standards.
The right candidate is self-motivated, technically strong, service-oriented, and able to manage both hands-on technical support and operational coordination. This position requires strong troubleshooting ability, project coordination, vendor management, communication skills, and the ability to work across multiple teams and time zones.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 support for endpoint issues, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and escalation resolution
- Manage endpoint lifecycle, including OS deployment (SCCM, Intune, Autopilot), application deployment, patching, and compliance monitoring
- Maintain and enhance endpoint environments through automation, policy enforcement, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support Windows 11 environments, Active Directory, Intune, Group Policy, and Mobile Device Management solutions
- Monitor endpoint health, deployment success, and adherence to cybersecurity and global standards
- Collaborate with CHQ,GCC, GEO teams to support global rollouts, compliance, and infrastructure initiatives
- Support project delivery across endpoint and data center domains, ensuring alignment with global standards
- Provide guidance to regional teams on endpoint support processes and best practices
- Monitor operational risks, driving continuous service improvement
- Coordinate RDC operations, including remote hands services, hardware installations, moves, and changes
- Manage vendor relationships across hardware, circuits, and software licensing, including procurement, renewals, and billing validation
- Handle hardware ordering and circuit provisioning for RDC environments
- Maintain accurate data center asset records, rack layouts, and capacity planning (power, cooling, space)
- Ensure operational stability of RDC environments and coordinate issue escalation with internal teams and vendors
Qualifications
Knowledge

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and automation-driven operational practices.
- Source control and version management concepts, including Git and GitHub

- Modern endpoint engineering practices, including configuration as code, automated deployments, and policy-driven management
- Change management, incident management, and problem management methodologies

- Microsoft Intune administration/SCCM / Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager

Desired Qualifications
- Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 2+ years of administrative experience with Windows endpoints, SCCM, Intune, and endpoint support
- 1+ years of experience in data center, infrastructure, vendor coordination, or regional technology operations preferred
- Experience managing technical projects involving multiple stakeholders
- Experience working in a regional or global technology support environment preferred
