Job Description

This person would administer the Market Logistics operations for the various sales geographies in South Asia including but not limited to: Australia, New Zealand, ASEAN (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Myanmar & Indonesia) and other locations such as Guam, Fiji and various Pacific Islands.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Administer the outputs of Service providers based on Customer Contracts and SLA’s and drive vendors to meet Customer’s needs.
  • Communicate with key external and internal functions in the provision of services, such as express couriers, freight forwarders, finance, shipping origin locations and purchasing.
  • Tracking/expediting all inbound shipments and support out bound shipping activities.
  • Reviewing import documents for accuracy prior to entry (Country of Origin, Value, HTS codes, etc.) and obtain approvals from Customer’s logistics team
  • Monitor and Report Temporary Import movements within the South Asia scope
  • Administer the logistics aspects of ‘Submarine’ projects including customs and importation/exportation considerations along with cost tracking and customs document management for the respective countries within South Asia scope.
  • Provide support for regional inbound/outbound shipments.
  • Create international documents when necessary.
  • Provide tactical compliance support and recordkeeping.
  • Provide reporting to internal groups within Customer’s Logistics
  • Work with Accounts Payables to mitigate any freight invoicing issues.
  • Logistics Projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Skills

1. Must have experience with international logistics.

2. Must be experienced with APAC/ASEAN (South Asia)  import/export regulations.

3. Must be detail oriented and hard working.

4. Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills.  Experience with Oracle preferred.

5. Must be fluent in English.

6. Must be able to work with multiple departments

Education / Experience

1. Bachelors Degree or equivalent.

2. 5+ years of relevant work experience.

3. Well versed with ASEAN import/export regulations.
