Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer with strong expertise in backend automation, data validation, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have experience in Agile and Kanban environments, a deep understanding of SDLC/STLC, and the ability to work independently while ensuring high-quality deliverables across healthcare and/or marketing domains.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams.  These results are achieved by:

  • Collaborate with business associates and data teams to gather and analyze functional and technical requirements.
  • Design, develop, and execute backend automation scripts to validate processes and data integrity.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to track user stories and defects through closure.
  • Ensure comprehensive coverage of SDLC, including post-production monitoring and documentation.
  • Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Proofs (with screenshots), and monitoring reports.
  • Write and execute complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data validation.
  • Quickly learn and adapt to new processes, tools, and technologies.
  • Maintain attention to detail and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Work with email marketing platforms and journey builders to validate campaigns and workflows.
  • Be flexible with work hours to align with EST time zone requirements.

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

  • Agile/Kanban: Hands-on experience in iterative development environments.
  • Domain Expertise: Healthcare and/or Marketing domain experience.
  • SDLC/STLC: Extensive knowledge and practical experience across all phases.
  • Backend Automation: Proven ability to automate backend processes.
  • Data Expertise: Strong SQL skills, including complex queries and procedures.
  • Postman
  • JIRA
  • Snowflake
  • Marketing tools (Adobe Campaign, GrowthLoop, Iterable, SFMC, etc.)
  • REST/SOAP APIs
  • Programming languages: Java/Ruby/Python/Others
  • Automation tools: QTP/Selenium/Others
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience monitoring production activities and creating supporting documentation.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based environments.
