Job Description
THE POSITION:
This position is responsible for actively growing new business revenue for EVERSANA’s Patient Services business consistent with the company’s strategic plan to grow new client’s revenue. This individual will identify opportunities and create value for our clients by leveraging solutions focused on EVERSANA’s Patient Services Business. This position is responsible for achieving revenue targets across a mix of large, mid and small / emerging biopharma clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Independent, assertive, and confident business development professional with a proven track record in a complex Patient Services environment.
- Maintain an established industry network within the biopharma space.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities and strategically tackle them.
- Strong presentation skills and adept at client engagement and development.
- Articulate Patient Services engagement models in a consultative manner to clients.
- Engage with the Patient Services leadership team and BD team to enhance EVERSANA’s brand.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking to synthesize information into a selling strategy within brand, specialty/rare and orphan pipeline of new client opportunities.
- Manage the sales cycle and collaborate with the BD team to win new business.
- Experience in managing and reporting regular updates on new business pipeline progress.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce, and market research tools.
- Proficient in use of market research tools and techniques including CRM, database query and management, and use of 3rd party information sources

EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:
- On an annual basis, responsible for achieving or exceeding new business revenue target for Patient Services
- Collaborating with the BD team (~20), build pipeline with brand, specialty, and rare/orphan biopharma companies to sufficiently address the functional revenue goals of EVERSANA’s Patient Services business
- Monitor pipeline, record, and communicate relevant and timely company information that informs business development and sales functions about significant events, such as successful clinical trial endpoints, management changes, acquisitions, regulatory filings, and approvals.
- Responsible for monitoring the Patient Services pipeline, providing regular pipeline updates and ensure accuracy in the CRM
- Be a SME to other business development colleagues for Patient Services aspects of opportunities under pursuit
- Guide assigned prospects through the company business development process resulting closing business and contributing to EVERSANA's financial objectives
- Work with Patient Services leadership team and Marketing to develop collateral, thought leadership, campaigns, etc. to increase market awareness.
- Travel (~50%)
- Hours (40+Hours per week, 5 days of the week)

Qualifications
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.
- Education (Bachelor’s degree)
- 15+ years of progressive, relevant business experience required in sales/business development in the life science industry
- Excellent oral and written communication skill
- Excellent organizational abilities
- High level of energy and enthusiasm – a true “go-getter” that likes a challenge
- Ability to work in unstructured environments and to multi-task, with good process orientation and attention to detail without losing sight of the strategic value of activities
- Strategic / Executive presence while being able to ‘roll up the sleeves’ to get the job done
- Excellent quantitative/qualitative skills
- Collaborative and a team player

Office: While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is frequently required to reach, grasp, stand and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 90% of the shift), walk, talk, and hear; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet, with frequent interruptions and multiple demands.

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $250,000 to $275,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
