Job Description

THE POSITION:

This position is responsible and accountable for the execution of the critical business function of guiding cross-functional teams in the creation of products and services that improve customer experience and generate revenue for EVERSANA.  This leader should be a highly skilled market analyst with a proven ability to strategize the full lifecycle of a product or service, from conception to revenue. This role helps the organization meet its revenue goals by understanding the competitive landscape, identifying key targets for the solution, and creating integrated proposals to support the commercialization of a client’s product or products.  This position is expected to meet EVERSANA objectives, including but not limited to product/service revenue growth, developing new solutions for specified markets, providing guidance and support to the company’s leadership and commercial team, and delighting clients with innovative solutions that support their goals. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams.  These results are achieved by:

  • Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development to achieve stated revenue goals
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, marketing and sales effort including tactics and targets, support materials, resources, and functional areas
  • Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, requirements, revenue, and ROI
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates EVERSANA across primary market segments
  • Create PowerPoint content independently and collaborate with marketing for incorporation into standardized materials and resources
  • Support the development of market assessments for specific opportunities, including strategy and content (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) for proactive proposal development
  • Own and manage the revenue due diligence process and make recommendations to leadership with appropriate summary slides to explain rationale
  • Validate financial assumptions independently ensuring revenue and cost totals make sense and support the strategy developed
  • Lead and advise BD and BU leads through the COMPLETE Commercial or functional solution development process demonstrating leadership and authority make the call on final direction (with tactful communication to the collective team)
  • Support and lead awareness and outreach activities through research, whitepapers, proactive proposals, targeting projects, and conferences
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, finance, data & analytics, consulting, agency, and other EVERSANA services as appropriate to support above

  • Responsible for and oversee their respective department.
  • Interview, select and supervise the activities of the department staff; communicate interpret and discuss with team the company policies and procedures.
  • Determine job objectives, work methods and performance standards; review performance relative to departmental objectives discussion appraisal with each employee and performance; authorize and communicate salary changes, promotions, transfers, discipline, and discharge and administer all other personnel actions.

Qualifications

EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:

  • Travel (5 - 10%)
  • Hours (M – F, minimum of 40 hours/week with flexibility above 40 hours depending on priorities)

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred, with 5+ -or more years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in outsourced commercial services to the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience working in, selling to, or interacting with biotech, SMID and large pharma
  • Understanding of the life sciences product lifecycle and the services needed at each stage
  • Solid command of the complexity of overall healthcare system- hospitals, payers, HCPs
  • Strategic thinking and creativity to think “outside the box.”
  • Strong interpersonal skills and leading through influence.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership for opportunities to help grow the revenue and business for EVERSANA
  • Proven, excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Must have knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • The position requires occasional travel to EVERSANA facilities, clients and industry events.
  • Advanced use of Excel to create comprehensive spreadsheets with formulas, referenced cells, graphs, and pivot tables as needed to enhance analysis, thought process, and presentation.  Development of powerpoint slide content in a concise and impactful way, working with Marketing to finalize visuals.
  • Ability to utilize and navigate various industry databases, analyze data & trends, draw conclusions, and communicate output to leadership.
