Job Description
We currently have a vacancy for a Sample Receptionist at Eurofins Food Analytics NZ-Invercargill and we are seeking candidates for this exciting opportunity.
It is a full time role
The purpose of the role is to receive samples into the Laboratory, register into the eLIMS and ensure samples are labelled correctly and provided to the analysts in a timely manner. You will also be involved in preparing sample bottles and providing bottle requests to our customers. We seek an energetic and motivated professional to join our Invercargill team. This position would suit someone who is well organised and comfortable working in a busy environment.
Key Position Objectives:
Reporting to the Laboratory Manager the role will focus on but is not limited to:
· Registering samples into the laboratory’s eLIMS system
· Delivering samples to the laboratory
· Preparing new sample bottles including labelling.
· Preparing sample kits and sending them to customers
Qualifications
· Attention to detail, strong administration and proficient computer skills are essential
· A tertiary degree in science is preferred but not essential
· Experience working within a commercial laboratory would be an advantage·
· Must have a valid NZ work visa or be a NZ resident
