Job Description

We are seeking a Regional Business Line Leader, Medical Device Services Europe, with end‑to‑end responsibility for the European Medical Device Services network.

Reporting to Group SVP BioPharma Services Europe, this role holds full P&L accountability and leads strategy execution across a multi‑site, regulated, and growth‑oriented business. The position can be based in Munich or Milan.

Strategic & Commercial Leadership

  • Define and execute the European Medical Device Services strategy.
  • Drive top‑line growth and market share expansion, with a strong focus on strategic and key accounts.
  • Position and evolve the service portfolio to anticipate regulatory changes, customer needs, and market trends.
  • Partner with Company Presidents, Boards, and Executive Management Teams to set long‑term objectives, scientific direction, and commercial priorities.

Operational & P&L Ownership

  • Maintain full accountability for P&L performance, including revenue growth, margin, cost control, and capital discipline.
  • Translate commercial strategy into concrete operational levers, ensuring efficient, scalable, and profitable service delivery across laboratories.
  • Identify and drive structural performance improvements, combining entrepreneurial mindset with operational discipline..

People & Leadership

  • Ensure the business is led by high‑calibre leaders; develop, coach, and succession‑plan key management talent.
  • Foster open communication, accountability, and performance culture across countries and sites.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum 7 years in senior leadership roles, with at least 3 years of full P&L responsibility for complex, multi‑site businesses.
  • Demonstrated success in growth‑driven, commercial organisations.
  • Ideally coming from regulated environment, but is not a must

Education

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Life Sciences required.

Languages

  • Fluent in English.
