Job Description
The New Site Implementation Manager is a hybrid role responsible for launching new operational sites, and ensuring a seamless transition from signed contract to operational handoff. The position will be a member of the Business Development team and will report into the Director of Business Development. The successful individual serves as a strategic partner to prospective clients, uncovering their needs and designing tailored service solutions, while simultaneously managing the project implementation activities required for a successful new site launch. The ideal candidate is passionate about delighting clients, thrives in fast‑paced environments, and excels at both relationship-building and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage confidently with executive-level stakeholders, demonstrating strong communication and influence.
- Actively listen to client needs to shape customized service solutions and convey the value proposition effectively.
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of new site implementation—transitioning from sale close to operational handoff.
- Develop, track, and execute project plans that drive the site toward a successful “go-live” date.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of startup milestones, resources, and client requirements.
- Maintain strong documentation processes to ensure a detailed, effective, and comprehensive transition to operations.
- Monitor competitive landscape and market trends to enhance site launch strategies and client positioning.
- Develop action plans that align with KPIs and ensure successful site implementation outcomes.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a best‑in‑class new client experience.
- Demonstrate passion for delighting new clients by ensuring smooth, efficient, and value‑rich onboarding.
- Maintain robust market intelligence to guide sales decisions and site rollout strategies.
- Collaborate with business development, operational leadership, and project teams to support continuous improvement in startup processes.
Qualifications
Basic Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Science discipline
- 3 years minimum experience within an insourcing solution model
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding goals tied to project timelines and commercial outcomes.
- Demonstrated success in creating, developing, and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Willingness to travel nationally up to 75% of the time for new site implementation activities.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling staffing, recruiting, insourcing, and/or laboratory services.
- Experience using CRM platforms for pipeline management and business development activities.
- Experience and comfort with launching or supporting startup activities for new client sites from scratch.
- Prior experience leading and managing complex projects involving cross-functional teams.
- Established book of business within the biopharma, life sciences, or related industry.
