Job Description

We are now looking for a driven and strategic Business Unit Manager for Eurofins Radon, who wants to be part of developing a growing business Unit, with responsibility for sales, marketing, and technology. The Business Unit Manager will have overall responsibility for a team of approximately 10 people and lead the business towards set goals.

The business, set by regulation, is seasonal – meaning production of samples are done from May to September and analysis is done from October to April.

The team is organized in production, costumer support and sales. However functions and responsibilities have cross overs to ensure stability.

There is one production manager and one sales manager as direct reports.

You will:

  • Be responsible for the business strategy and development, including budget and financial performance.
  • Drive sales and marketing in Sweden, Europe, and North America.
  • Lead and develop a competent team with personnel responsibility.
  • Ensure that technology, quality, and innovation align with the business objectives. This includes automated systems for microscopy and assembly and a close relationship with supplies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with both customers and partners.
  • Take an active role in Interest Associations for the business
  • Lead the business toward set KPIs and improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal support functions and laboratories within the Eurofins network.

Qualifications we value:

  • A degree in natural sciences, engineering, or mathematics.
  • Experience in sales and/or business development. International market experience is a plus.
  • A humble leader with the ability and toolset to create a healthy and productive work environment.
  • Strategic but also operational – you enjoy being close to the business.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English.

  • The position is a full-time role during daytime hours.
  • Employment form: Permanent employment with an initial probationary period.
  • Location: Preferred – Luleå.
