Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Relationship Manager to join our team. You will oversee supplier relationships with non-customer facing suppliers within the Claims Motor Legal and Technical supply chain to deliver the best commercial and customer outcomes, striving to optimise overall performance.

This role is well suited to a Claims Manager, Technical Claims Lead/ Team Leader or anyone with technical and legal claims' experience looking to take the next step up in their career.

What you will do:

  • Own the supplier strategy, seeking innovative ways to drive additional value throughout the supply chain, optimising spend, income opportunities and third party strategies.
  • oversee operational performance of suppliers on a day-to-day basis, including oversight of performance
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key partners
  • Ensure suppliers meet all aspects of the services contract and feedback is used effectively to drive performance and to identify risks and areas of improvement.
  • Maintain a strong understand of the legal and technical supplier chain

Qualifications

What we'd love you to bring

  • Claims experience with knowledge of third party claims and legal market
  • Customer focused and a desire to build professional relationships with third-parties.
  • Good financial, analytical & negotiation skills
  • Strong understanding of risk and how each supplier could affect business outcomes and brand reputation
  • Ability to balance the requirements of the claims teams and the suppliers to ensure optimum business performance
  • Ability to have challenging and difficult conversations with a supplier without damaging the relationship
