Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Service Management expert who has exposure to modern service delivery practices. We need someone to play a key role in continuing the development of new ways of working and be involved in the strategy, design, implementation and continuous improvement of IT Service Management activities.

What you will do:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of service management professionals ensuring continuous development of the team and inspiring change
  • Senior lead on all ITIL principles, embracing DevOps and Agile ways of working
  • Work with the Agile Service Lead to define and deliver a road map of initiatives that deliver service excellence
  • Lead the service relationship with 3rd party vendors and suppliers through regular service review meetings, taking ownership of the service aspects of these relationships and driving continuous improvement
  • Working closely with delivery and engineering teams, facilitate service transition of new products and services into production
  • Provide 24/7 incident support management

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • An individual who has a passion for new and emerging technologies that will improve the service we give customers and colleagues
  • Strong people leadership skills and a want to inspire teams and build excitement around transformation and change
  • Experience of ITIL SM applied in an Agile model (ITIL Certified preferable); including but not limited to Problem Management and Continual Service Improvement and Change & Release Management
  • Experience managing service with 3rd parties – including outsourcers, managed services, PaaS, SaaS and IaaS providers
  • Knowledge and experience using modern Service Management Tools
