Job Description

Are you an experienced Pricing Analyst looking to take the next step in your career? We have an excellent Senior Pricing Analyst opportunity within our innovative and growing Pricing team based in Reigate!

This is an exciting time to be joining us as we all work collectively towards our vision of business transformation. We are serious about fixing insurance for good through the creation of an unbeatable platform that changes customers' views and perceptions of insurance providers. You will be part of these new foundations and, also using some data magic, create magnetic value for both our existing and future customers.

You will utilise your extensive knowledge and experience of the insurance industry to initiate and deliver a range of analytical projects to further improve business performance.

We are also looking for someone who can use their expertise to guide and support their fellow Analysts to help improve the capabilities of the team.

The day to day

As a key member of the Pricing team, you'll act as a point of contact for our Pricing Analysts, offering supervision and guidance when needed along with the potential of line management duties. You will also have exposure and collaboration opportunities with departments from across the wider business, including reserving, finance, IT and capital modelling.

You'll take ownership for the delivery of significant projects and present your work to the Pricing Committee and senior stakeholders.

You'll build risk and demand models using GLMs, GBMs, and emerging techniques, whilst ensuring risk costs are calibrated according to our latest view of claims and inflation. You'll also support the setting of the financial plan, including with burn cost projections.

As a Senior Analyst, you'll work on the improvements of our Lifetime Value Price Optimisation, as well as our Radar Live pricing algorithms. You'll also be involved in the monitoring of trading and claims using a variety of MI and delivery of trading changes to achieve profit and volume targets, and support the business strategy
