Job Description

esure Group are currently recruiting for a Risk and Capital Analyst to join our team! You will support the Head of Risk & Capital on capital modelling, solvency capital requirements, risk analytics and also in providing second line oversight of financial risks.

What you'll do:

  • Supporting the Head of Risk & Capital and Risk Managers on assessing solvency requirements and capital modelling including developing and updating the capital model and assist in providing output from the capital model for use across esure
  • Support the team on the Own Risk & Solvency Assessment (ORSA), including stress testing and scenario analysis, risk appetite, emerging risks and annual / ad-hoc reporting to key stakeholders
  • Get involved in technical risk analytics to assist the business on risk v reward and capital related decisions
  • 2nd Line of defence risk oversight and challenge of a technical nature for our financial functions

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • A passion and curiosity for data analysis with the ability to analyse large amounts of data and create reports for the business
  • Capital modelling or coding experience
  • Experience in an actuarial or statistical role
  • The ability to build strong business relationships to ensure robust oversight and challenge of the 1st line
  • Any experience with Solvency II and ORSA is advantageous
