Job Description

What you’ll do

We are looking for a Claims Analysis & Insight Manager to play a key part in driving forward the ambitions of the Claims department at esure.

You'll lead the analysis of claims financial and operational data and provide insight to the Claims Leadership team and beyond to drive benefit for the business, fueling conversations to share knowledge and ultimately improve the understanding of claims performance.

Through analysing claims data and leading a team in identifying areas of potential risk and opportunity, you'll present outcomes as recommendations and practical insight to improve overall business performance.

This is a highly collaborative role. You'll work closely with a number of teams within esure to plan, develop and update new and existing MI, analysis and insight, driving improvement of data provision within the insurance environment.

The skills you’ll bring

  • An analytical approach to problem-solving gained from working with sophisticated data sets, with experience of extracting data using SQL based programming tools
  • Knowledge of advanced analytical packages such as Python or R and of visual based analysis tools such as Tableau or Apache Superset
  • Confidence in presenting and clearly communicating analytical outcomes to a broad variety of audiences and technical context required in each situation
