Job Description
We have a great opportunity for a Motor Investigator to join our Claims Fraud team on a permanent basis
The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating and resolving a caseload of suspected fraudulent claims in order to achieve a speedy and cost efficient conclusion, including the recovery of paid away claims. Resulting in minimal financial loss to the company.
The Day to Day
- Customer claims management from FNOL through to validation for all theft unrecovered and recovered burnt out claims
- Managing incoming claims via Online FNOL for theft unrecovered/theft recovered burnt out cases. Setting up initial claim and arranging Digilog appointment.
- Indemnity investigations for fraud referrals and all theft unrecovered/recovered burnt out cases with support from Experts.
- Demonstration of fraud investigation techniques managing own caseload proactively ensuring detailed and accurate case notes meeting SLAs
- Interpret matches from SIRA fraud detection system
Qualifications
- Proven claims handling experience in a personal lines environment
- Working knowledge of the internet and Insurance/Financial service databases
- Working knowledge of legal aspect of asset recovery
- Good communication, organisational and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work as part of team.
- An intermediate level of computer literacy
- Good understanding GDPR
Additional Information
Salary - £22,000 plus up to 5% annual bonus
