Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a Motor Investigator to join our Claims Fraud team on a permanent basis

The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating and resolving a caseload of suspected fraudulent claims in order to achieve a speedy and cost efficient conclusion, including the recovery of paid away claims. Resulting in minimal financial loss to the company.

The Day to Day

  • Customer claims management from FNOL through to validation for all theft unrecovered and recovered burnt out claims
  • Managing incoming claims via Online FNOL for theft unrecovered/theft recovered burnt out cases. Setting up initial claim and arranging Digilog appointment.
  • Indemnity investigations for fraud referrals and all theft unrecovered/recovered burnt out cases with support from Experts.
  • Demonstration of fraud investigation techniques managing own caseload proactively ensuring detailed and accurate case notes meeting SLAs
  • Interpret matches from SIRA fraud detection system

Qualifications

  • Proven claims handling experience in a personal lines environment
  • Working knowledge of the internet and Insurance/Financial service databases
  • Working knowledge of legal aspect of asset recovery
  • Good communication, organisational and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work as part of team.
  • An intermediate level of computer literacy
  • Good understanding GDPR

Additional Information

Salary - £22,000 plus up to 5% annual bonus
