We are currently recruiting for a Finance Applications Support Analyst on a permanent basis!

You will support the Oracle E-Business Suite as well as working on system enhancement projects.

You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing current financial applications, including the balance sheet reconciliation tool and ensuring the integration of data from policy admin applications.  To ensure the platforms and processes are developed for accurate reporting and reconciliation and associated control mechanisms are in place.

What you will do:

• Day to Day functional support of Oracle Financials modules including (Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Cash Management, Purchasing, FAH) and other related processes.
• Provide ongoing support and technical development of the Oracle Financials platform, Oracle Discoverer & Excel4Apps to enable all areas of Finance to deliver business needs on a daily basis. 
• Maintenance of the Blackline reconciliation tool
• Work alongside Support Desk, creating new users, administering access rights & licenses.
• Responsible for delivering end user training.
• To test solutions ensuring deliverables reflect the planned business requirements.
• Working with the Oracle E-Business Developer to undertake a review of all current processes,
• systems and controls within the business to identify any potential enhancement that could be made from an economic, effective and efficiency perspective.
• Functional and technical problem investigation and resolution (to include PL/SQL, Oracle Workflow, Excel4Apps)
• To monitor the Oracle financial ledgers each month in readiness for month-end, including examining all Oracle interfaces , process journals and rolling forward ledgers to different accounting periods for all companies.
• Produce month end and year end extracts required for Financial Reporting.

You are a good fit for the role if you have the following…

• Experience of financial accounting processes and procedures.
• Experience of any of the following Oracle Financials applications would be beneficial; General Ledger, Financial Accounting Hub (FAH),Payables, purchasing, assets, cash management, concurrent manager, oracle Workflow
• Experience of Excel4Apps, particularly report design and maintenance or equivalent experience with other reporting tools.
• Knowledge of Blackline preferred but not essential
• IT based qualification (PL/SQL, Github)
• A basic understanding of Python. 
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A positive approach to problem investigation and resolution
• Good time management, prioritisation & organisational skills
• Good attention to detail
