Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Product Owner on a 12 month fixed term contract basis!

As part of the wider Claims function you will be accountable for working closely with the Scrum teams to increase value of new products that will support esure’s transformation, customers and colleagues.

What you will do:

  • Lead product discovery, user research and customer testing to bring the voice of the customer into the Scrum team(s)
  • Accountable for the Product Backlog. Create, prioritise and explicitly communicate themes, epics, user stories & acceptance criteria to deliver maximum value
  • Communicate, challenge and own the product vision aligned to the business strategy
  • Continuously review esure’s business needs, refine priorities, deliverables, and find opportunities and risks
  • Own the planning of product releases and set the expectation for delivery of new functionality
  • Follow our competitors and the industry (looking outside our geo and industry to drive innovation)
  • Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Experience as a Product Owner in a fast paced, change environment
  • Product Owner related certification (e.g. PSPO, CSPO)
  • Experience working on large Agile projects and an understanding of Scrum and DevOps
  • Proficient at generating high quality documentation including user stories, use cases and flow diagrams
  • The ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment
