Job Description

 

Purpose of Role:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to work within our progressive team

The Day to Day:

  • Map all of the process, human and geographical dependencies for systems supporting Important Business Services across esure to align with Operational Resilience regulation
  • Provide input and guidance to impacts of failures within the dependencies
  • Define processed and methodologies to align with all regulation (FCA & PRA)
  • Design and test scenarios to prove esure’s ability to stay within defined impact tolerances
  • Continually look for ways to help improve team performance
  • Support the Head of Operational Resilience and the rest of the team in activities to provide an initial self assessment and to transition into a business as usual structure in March 2022
  • Promote resilience across the organisation to support our customers and business, reducing the overall risk to both
  • Produce accurate and timely data to support the programme at all levels of the organisation
  • Test & Support systems to support the recording of data associated with Operational Resilience

Qualifications

Essential

  • Be a champion across the business for Data and governance to guide an advise on new techniques
  • Knowledge of IT systems, processes and information security practices
  • In depth experience of working closely with data, privacy practitioners and security teams
  • Solid understanding of Data Quality strategies and Data lineage in a Digitally enabled businesses

Soft skills

  • Be resilient when coping with changing demands of a high focus programme
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Facilitation skills, running workshops for business units
  • Ability to work with people across esure at all levels
  • Attention to detail

Bonus points

  • A Service Continuity or Business Continuity background
  • Experience of large SaaS implementations
  • General Insurance experience
  • Running a Business Impact Analysis across an organisation
