Purpose of Role:

The Transformation Resource Analyst is responsible for the development and management of a resource and capacity management process across esure’s change programmes and management of a master resource model held in Microsoft Excel. 

The Day to Day:

• Manage the resource planning, capacity management and allocation process for the resources working across the esure Transformation and Change Programmes.
• Support business strategy and the budget process by maintaining up to date and accurate staffing and resourcing plans.
• Work with line managers, value stream leads, delivery leads and other stakeholders to identify resource gaps and capture them in the master resource model.
• Work with third parties, who provide resource to esure change programmes, to receive updates on sourcing status.
• Work with internal departments to on and off board resources within the change programmes and esure by requesting access for relevant parties.
• Produce regular reporting on the resources allocated to the change programmes and future demand.
• Work closely with the Finance team to ensure that the resource aligns to and is being managed within the programme(s) budget.
• Work closely with HR to provide clear forecasting and ongoing budget vs plan reporting.
• Produce resource forecasts for the life of the programme(s) or work.
• Challenge stakeholders appropriately where their requirements fall outside the agreed resourcing baseline with an agreed set of guardrails.
• Challenge requests and deal with potential resource escalations, making decisions on conflicting demands as required.
• Be able to demonstrate full audit trail of resourcing decisions taken using master resource model within Microsoft Excel. Analyse and interrogate resource data to ensure that problems are identified and resolved quickly.
• Proactively engage with programme stakeholders to ensure that unfulfilled resource demand is sourced quickly and efficiently.

Must Have:

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong data manipulation
• Experience of engaging with mid to senior stakeholders
• Strong focus on results
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong Excel / Data manipulation skills

Nice to Have

• Demonstrable experience of enterprise resource management activities.
• Experience of agile project management techniques
• Experience in digital transformation programme(s) of work
• Project portfolio resource allocation, financial management and departmental budgeting experience
