We are looking for a Junior Developer to work within our progressive Security team. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow into a DevSecOps.

Day to Day: 

• As a Junior Developer you'll design and develop new components and enhancements for a suite of Cyber Security products and AWS.
• You'll join a highly intelligent and motivated Security Agile team working on a wide variety of projects with a diverse toolset and will have the opportunity to run your own projects and work autonomously on new ideas.

Professional growth
We are committed to continual learning, the individual would have a 3 year learning pathway
which includes a secondment to each security team to learn new disciplines.

The individual would be mentored in growing to obtain new skills and qualifications:

• Secure Coding practices
• CompTIA Security+
• AWS Developer
• Secure CI / CD pipelines
• Kubernetes and Event driven designs

Essential

• Python Intermediate+ level coding skills
• A degree in IT, Computer Science, Mathematical, Engineering or a Scientific related degree
• Experience working with Python , Go or C
• A passion for new learning
• Strong analytical, problem solving and logical thinking skills
• Collaborative with excellent communication skills

Bonus points

• Awareness of Linux, SQL
• Knowledge around cyber security
• Familiar with AWS or similar cloud compute environments
