Job Description

We are currently looking for a Capability Lead on a fixed term contract basis. You will be responsible for people capability development in line with the target state Blueprint, including supporting the organisational transitions required to achieve this state.

What you'll do:

  • Define future capability requirements in line with the target state Blueprint
  • Define the target state competency framework
  • Develop an organisation-wide learning strategy and carry out training needs analyses across the esure organisation
  • Own the development and delivery of all learning content (both technical and non-technical) required to achieve the target state outlined in the Blueprint
  • Own and manage third party, learning provider relationships
  • Develop knowledge transfer approach
  • Coordinate and lead on all aspects of the people transition plan, including collaborating with the HR business partner team and the Benefits Realisation Lead to manage exits and people moves
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the Business Readiness team, the Value Streams and the broader people team to effectively drive delivery of the Blueprint

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Effective collaboration skills and the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Proven track record of working as part of an organisational transformation, preferably with experience of operating within a scaled Agile environment and / or digitally native organisation
  • Experience in learning and development and / or capability development more generally
  • Strongly results oriented and focused on pragmatically getting to outcomes - comfortable to dig in and troubleshoot as needed
  • Willing to challenge business / commercial logic, supported by facts
  • Clear, concise communicator with strong leadership presence – ability to manage communication with key stakeholders
