Role Purpose:

To be responsible for the provision of support across the CFO function ensuring that all functional requirements are satisfied and for ensuring the absolute integrity of core Finance data.

As part of the wider digital transformation programme you will identify, develop and deliver creative, system based solutions that solve complex data challenges aligned to the Group strategy. This will include changes to our existing core financial modules, making end state design agile by nature and supporting a fast moving and efficient CFO function. You will lead, manage and implement finance systems, owning the finance infrastructure and supporting all finance applications. Acting as the customer to the Group’s IT and Data Management functions, you will support the Head of Finance Transformation by driving the delivery of technology change and data services in line with the functions requirements – as primary contact for the wider business in regard to finance systems, you will ensure that these are fully understood and delivered.

As an experienced finance professional you will have designed and delivered brilliant finance systems in regulated environments, working with large volumes of complex data and managing the linkages between regulatory accounts, performance, and actuarial teams, preferably but not essentially with an insurance/financial sector background. You will have an agile approach to project management and the ability to research and implement best practice to our CFO programme of work.

As Finance Systems Lead, you will balance the short term, current state needs with longer term strategic programme goals, so a pragmatic “big picture” approach is essential. This role will give you the chance to be involved in a large scale transformation project, making real change in the insurance industry.
