Professionals within The IT Strategy and Transformation (ITST) Practice are experienced with bold, value-creating approaches to IT, bringing boardroom-relevant criteria to IT investments and helping high-performance businesses to "think bigger" about IT's ability to improve operating results. Managers will lead ITST consulting projects for existing or new clients. Additionally, works closely with the partners in Strategic IT Effectiveness as well as client partners in CLIENT's industry groups in proposal production and high-impact business pursuits.
Key Responsibilities May Include:
• Lead a consulting team ranging from 2 - 6 people from within ITST and other practices, providing overall direction and oversight in the creation of client work products
• Manage work in such a way that the results are both of distinctive quality and useful to the client in terms of improving competitive position
• Provide specific guidance to team members to ensure that project focus is on target and work is accomplished on time and of the highest quality standards
• Contribute to thought capital development on topics of interest to potential clients and collaborating with others in the firm on client
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree is required
- Minimum 5 years experience improving the business value of IT
- Minimum 5 years experience writing business cases (quantitative and qualitative) to support strategic business initiatives, process improvement initiatives, or IT transformation
- Minimum 2 years experience leading or managing small teams effectively including planning/structuring analytical work, facilitating team workshops, and developing IT strategy recommendations (e.g., IT capability improvements, key initiatives, roadmaps)
Preferred Skills:
- Master's Degree in Business or related field is beneficial
- 5-7 years experience working with clients (e.g. strong relationships, influence over direction), either as an external consultant or an internal client/customer supporting role
- Strong understanding of industry operations and dynamics through experience in a specific industry
- Experience leading or managing small teams effectively and planning/structuring analytical work
- Strong written and verbal skills are preferred
- Experience working on a team or individually
- Ability to travel 100%
