Base Salary from $76,600 + Super + Bonus + Group wide discounts

We’re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Wintersun Hotel buzzing and loved by the locals.

A Geraldton institution on the WA coast, the Wintersun Hotel is a high-volume venue dedicated to quality food and sustainable local produce. We’re seeking a hospitality leader to join our team across our bustling family Bistro, lively Sports Bar, and guest accommodation. If you’re passionate about friendly service and working in a community-focused environment near the shoreline, we want to hear from you.

A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:

• Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of their crew
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
• Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
• You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
• You’ve got a current RSA and Approved Manager card as per WA state requirements
