Job Role: Business Analyst

Role Overview and Expected Deliverables

The Business Analyst will be responsible in documenting both functional and non functional requirements for the delivery of Data Products. Business Analyst will also be responsible in creating the process maps for both As-Is and Future state. 

Business Analyst will help enhance how we collect, analyze, and manage data, improve business processes, and support the development of digital and AI capabilities that drive efficiency and insights for our Fund Management teams. 

Must have skills

Requirement gathering, data product definition, source-to-target mapping, business rules, acceptance criteria, SQL understanding, Agile delivery, stakeholder management, data quality rule definition

Good to have skills

Private Asset Management experience, Collibra glossary, Power BI, investment data, portfolio/fund/transaction data

Core Requirements•

Proven experience (at least 5 years) of working as a Business Analyst within financial services, ideally within Asset Management.
• Strong understanding of Private Markets:  Real Assets, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Credit and Public Markets businesses
• Knowledge of fund structures: Limited Partnerships (LP/GP model), Open/Closed-end funds, Co-investments and feeder structures
• Familiarity with Capital calls & distributions, Fund accounting & NAV processes, Valuation methodologies for illiquid assets
• Experience defining requirements, creating business requirement documents, functional specs, target operating models and process maps, translating business needs into digital and AI capabilities.
• Have a strong focus on data driven decision making, predictive analytics and automation with experience working with both structured and unstructured data
• Strong communication skills with the ability to understand and explain model outputs or technical requirements to non-technical business stakeholders
• Effectively build trust with diverse stakeholders, align priorities through clear communication, and proactively resolve issues before they impact delivery
• Proven ability to work effectively across technical and business functions, facilitating alignment and driving consensus
• Proficiency using data analytic tools such as Excel, SQL or BI platforms to interpret data

Delivery Approach & Ways of Working

• Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks.
• Use of JIRA and Confluence for delivery management and documentation.
• Proven track record collaborating effectively in multi‑disciplinary teams across engineering, product and analytics.

Experience & Other
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Self‑starter able to lead components independently while partnering closely with internal teams.
• Preferred working in Agile and scrum teams and iterative delivery
