Elevate K-12 is changing the way classrooms work through live, online, real-time instruction to K-12 schools. Our two main focuses are to give students the best quality instructors and get them ready for the world of the future and to give instructors, especially women, work opportunities, irrespective of zip codes. Dreams, breathes and thinks about how to engage students in the learning of mathematics across the K-12 spectrum at many learning levels. Strong experience building math curriculum and guiding others to support in its creation.

• Understand how students learn and what it takes to develop effective math curriculum

• Review and assess existing math curriculum to ensure that programs are meeting intended objectives

• Develop and refine new math curriculum (from idea generation to mock-up to documentation)

• Prepare and maintain instructional training materials (print, video, etc.)

• Prepare and maintain instructional materials used during the execution of sessions, classes, and camps (manipulatives, PowerPoints, guides, etc.)

• Liaise with other leads on curriculum team as needed

• Manage pool of math content writers

• Create Measurable objectives for math classes that can be demonstrated and achieved
  Program Management Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of all Math programs

• Hire, train and manage staff of part-time content writers

• Participate in hiring, training and managing staff of part-time math instructors

• Support new business efforts

• Collaborate cross-functionally on the continuous improvement of Elevate K-12 programs

• Advance the overall mission of Elevate and its programs

• A Bachelor’s degree required, a Master’s degree a plus

• Minimum 2 years of management experience

• Minimum 2 years of classroom experience

• Strong academic curriculum, process and operations knowledge

• Proficiency in project/product management, time planning and people management

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Detail oriented with strong organization skills

• Experience in EdTech a huge plus!

• Must be able to work out of our downtown Chicago office
