Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced director of field investigations in the Los Angeles region to oversee operations development in field background investigations. Our comprehensive background investigations are performed for prospective government employee as well as private organizations and clientele. The highest level of professionalism must be maintained.
Responsibilities: The Field Director will be responsible for all line staff and deliverables within their region. They will operate with a Mission First and People Always mentality to ensure that customer expectations are always met and/or exceeded.
Essential Functions:
- Provide leadership and direction to the review management team so they can execute on workload operations in a manner that exceeds customer performance and quality expectations
- Develop an organization of excellence through positive leadership, clear communication, high performance standards, organizational efficacy, and high standards of individual integrity, quality, and accountability
- Deliver timely and quality investigations to exceed client expectations
- Supervises daily field investigation activities including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management
- Foster a collaborative working environment that maximizes employee morale, performance, and innovation
- Leads practice of data driven business analysis, goal setting, forecasting, and execution follow through
- Actively identifie and lead continuous improvement efforts in direct and indirect areas of responsibility
- Work with cross functional peers including program management, human resources, information technology, compliance, and others in daily operations and in special projects
- Daily customer interaction, verbal/written communication and business reviews may be required
Job Requirements:
- Relevant intelligence analyst, sworn law enforcement, training and experience
- Relevant management and leadership experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate in a dynamic and technology driven security environment

Qualifications
REQUIRED CREDENTIALS
Previous CA Sworn (Detective, or higher ranking) or Sr. Attorney Professional.
POST Certified Required. Security Clearance highly desirable.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
Criminal Justice / Law Academics Preferred- Technology Savvy- Business and Professional. Acumen
