Job Description

We are seeking experienced criminal justice professionals to perform extensive field background investigations for potential government employee candidates. The interview will include at home visit of potential candidates, their neighbors, spouses, kids, friends as well as former employees. The highest level of professionalism must be maintained. Up to 10 interviews may be required for each candidate. Turnaround must be completed in one week period.

 

Responsibilities: As an Investigator at KENTECH Investigative Services, you will conduct phone/field investigations and interviews/checks to complete background investigations for suitability on current and prospective government employees. As an Investigator, extensive travel is required within the greater Baltimore area. This will require conducting an in-home interview with the candidate and their immediate family plus a neighborhood survey interviewing three neighbors. Reports will be submitted electronically via secure web system.

Qualifications

REQUIRED CREDENTIALS

The investigator must be a current/previous Peace Officer or Law Enforcement Officer. Security Clearance is highly desirable.

 

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

Retired Law Enforcement in an investigative role preferred - Technology Savvy - Business and Professional - Acumen

REQUIREMENTS: Reliable Transportation - Car Insurance - Valid Driver's License - Ability to work on evenings/weekends - Ability to pass Drug and Criminal Background Check.

 

Duration: Ongoing.

Compensation: Contractor 1099 - $100-200 per case.
