Job Description
The HR Intern is expected to:
- Update company databases by inputing and validating employee records.
- Prepare and distribute offers and create job postings.
- Manage and track probation reviews and completion.
- Process personnel forms and maintain records to ensure timely performance evaluations.
- Maintain trackers like leavers, probation, etc
- Follow up regarding trainings, goals settings, appraisals, etc
- Collection of documents for processing.
- Data management and employee folders management
- Processing of employees and business requests.
- Work across departments and manage expectations.
- Assist in organizing company events, training sessions, or special HR initiatives.
- Respond to employees Human Resources related matters.
- Office Management tasks: sorting employee files, payroll data, and other hr intern duties.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HRM or studying toward a degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an office environment, preferably HR.
- Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software is advantageous.
- High Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite - Excel, V-Lookup and Powerpoint.
- Must be inwardly motivated and have the ability to work as part of a team.
- Should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Self-starter and not afraid of taking the initiative.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters and understand company policies
