Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst – O&M to join our ANZ Finance team.

Reporting to the CFO – ANZ, this role supports the financial performance and governance of our Operations and Maintenance (O&M) project portfolio. You will act as a trusted finance partner to Project Directors and Managers, providing commercial insight, financial analysis and strong project controls to support project success.

This role will also contribute to the ongoing Oracle ERP implementation, helping strengthen financial reporting, internal controls and project governance across the organisation.
 

What you’ll be doing

Partner with Project Directors and Managers as a trusted financial advisor, providing insights across financial, tax, accounting and costing matters to support project profitability and performance.

Conduct regular project financial reviews including budgets at completion, forecasts and business case analysis to identify risks and performance impacts.

Support strong project governance by improving financial controls, reporting quality and financial discipline across project teams.

Monitor key financial metrics including unbilled revenue, receivables, cash flow, budgets and forecasts across the project portfolio.

Support business planning, forecasting, risk management and variation management across projects.

Build strong relationships with operational stakeholders to ensure financial requirements and project controls are effectively managed.

Support monthly and quarterly financial close processes and contribute to internal and external audit activities.

Contribute to finance improvement initiatives and strengthen project finance processes across the ANZ region.

Support the implementation and optimisation of Oracle ERP, helping drive system adoption and improved financial reporting capability.

Qualifications

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.

Strong Experience in financial controlling, auditing or financial management roles.

Experience within project-based environments such as infrastructure, engineering, construction or professional services is highly regarded.

Strong financial analysis capability with advanced Excel and/or Power BI skills.

Experience working with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner effectively with operational teams.

High attention to detail, strong analytical capability and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Experience working within multinational or complex project environments is advantageous.
