Job Description
About the Role
We have opportunities for senior architects to join our international architecture and master planning practice. As a member of our team, you will work on diverse international projects ranging from large-scale master plans to individual buildings. We pride ourselves on bringing innovative design solutions for multicultural projects with economic and social integrity.
You will be responsible for producing high-quality designs, maintaining client briefs, conducting thorough research into design briefs and subject matter and producing sketches and diagrams to communicate design options effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality design work in line with 10 Design’s philosophy
- Ownership and responsibility for maintaining the client brief
- Thorough research into the design brief and subject matter
- Produce sketches, options and diagrams to effectively communicate the design options opportunities challenges that clients need to be aware of
- Deliver designs effectively in a timely manner
- Mentor junior members of the staff
Qualifications
- A degree in architecture or urban design from a recognised university
- Minimum of six years professional experience
- Conceptual design-focused producing design solutions on your own or under guidance
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication presentation skills
- Strong modelling and post-production skills
- Excellent Rhino skills required
- Sound knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and 3ds Max
- Experience within a tier one architecture practice working on international projects ideally gained in the Middle East or Asia would be highly beneficial
