Job Description

As part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and aligning with the evolving regulatory landscape, we are seeking a Senior Quality Associate-Compliance. This role is critical in strengthening our Evaluation Services (EVS) Quality Assurance framework specifically within the context of ESMA (European Securities and Markets Authority) regulations, including the ESG Rating Regulation (EU 2024/3005) and other potential ESG raters regulations in other jurisdictions (e.g. UK, Japan).

The Senior Quality Associate-Compliance will support the deployment of the EVS Quality roadmap, ensuring our assessment methodologies and internal controls meet stringent European transparency and integrity standards. You will be a key guardian of our compliance posture, helping to track mandatory KPIs and communicate regulatory requirements to the broader EVS team.

To maintain the highest standards of integrity, your responsibilities include:

  • Licensing & Audit Readiness: Actively liaise with stakeholders to centralize compliance data for the ESMA license process and ensure constant audit readiness.

  • Respond to ESMA Oversight function’s needs for information.

  • Policy Management: Update and communicate compliance policies, manuals, and procedures to reflect current regulatory shifts.

  • Training & Awareness: Maintain up-to-date training content, track mandatory participation/declarations, and raise general compliance awareness within the EVS team.

  • Corrective Actions: Manage and follow up on action plans resulting from internal or external regulatory audits.

  • Performance Tracking: Help track mandatory KPIs and communicate regulatory requirements across the organization.

  • Any other activities related to EVS compliance to ESG regulations

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should demonstrate a blend of technical regulatory knowledge and robust analytical skills:

Technical Expertise & Experience

  • Compliance Experience: Previous experience in a compliance-related function

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Quality Assurance frameworks and experience with regulatory audit preparation and documentation . Advantage: conversant with ESMA-related regulations, specifically ESG Rating Regulation (EU 2024/3005).

  • Data Analysis: Strong ability to analyze complex data sets to identify trends, gaps, and areas for process improvement.

  • Audit Management: Proficiency in managing documentation for internal and external regulatory audits.

Core Professional Skills

  • Communication: Good  interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse global stakeholders.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to solve problems independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Language: Full professional fluency in English (both oral and written).

  • Ethics: A high level of integrity and a commitment to maintaining transparency standards.

  • AI Fluency: Ability to use AI tools (such as Gemini, Claude) to review regulatory updates, draft preliminary compliance summaries, and automate routine monitoring tasks.
