Job Description

We are searching for a part time Telecommunications Support Technician in Kenya to join our globally growing team. The successful candidate will work closely with Ulula’s engineering and customer service teams.

What you’ll do:

  • Work as part of our telecoms department
  • Manage Voice and Messaging reporting
  • Monitor our telecommunications infrastructure and diagnose any issues that may arise with deployments (voice and text)
  • Collaborate with internal teams on connectivity issues affecting client relations
  • Able to travel in case you need to install/maintain our infrastructure
  • Support projects across all areas of Ulula’s operations, especially projects in Africa
  • All other assigned tasks, commiserate with your role and responsibility as Telecommunication Support Technician

Qualifications

  • Experience with any type of telecommunication network
  • Experience liaising with technical and non-technical teams around the world
  • Working knowledge of VoIP and systems that use automated responses.
  • Passion for documentation
  • Self-motivated with a tolerance for change and complexity for global telecommunications
  • Desire to learn and become familiar with modern technologies
  • Passion for equality and safe workplaces
