Job Description
We are looking for a Workday Functional Analyst to join our team. As a subject matter expert, you will be consulting with stakeholders on the design of Workday HRIS, including but not limited to core HCM, Talent/performance, Learning, time tracking and compensation.
This role involves system maintenance, troubleshooting, development and enhancement of business processes while ensuring that our systems remain current and serve the needs of our users.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Workday Administration/Maintenance
Develop excellent knowledge of the system and EcoVadis configuration across all the modules
Act as a subject expert, provide troubleshooting and advanced support for end users, escalate complex issues to process owners and/or Workday administrator
Process assigned tickets through the HR ticketing system, assess impacts, set priorities and document resolution
Analyze internal business processes to ensure optimal configuration and to facilitate a continual return on investment
Ensure prioritisation and relevancy of change requests and evaluate the system-wide impact of system enhancements
Review system usage metrics and identify, investigate and resolve potential issues
Partner with HR Business partners/workstream leads to facilitate ongoing adoption of Workday features and functionality
Workday Development/Enhancement
Partner with the HR Business partners/workstream leads to translate end users needs into system requirements; and ensure that supporting documentation is produced
Analyze requirements and system capabilities to provide feedback and gap analysis
Lead requirements gathering, upgrades, design discussions and testing initiatives
Actively participate in the Workday Community to identify any potential issues/new solutions to existing issues/business needs
Periodic processes/Upgrades
Support periodic configuration required for performance management, compensation planning and any other modules with functional areas on content decisions
Configure, test and troubleshoot all configurations and business processes
Assist with the preparation of training materials and conduct training on the new features/enhancements
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any related field
- At least 2 years of Workday-specific HRIS experience (requirements gathering, configuration, testing and implementation)
- Proven configuration knowledge and experience of HCM, Talent/performance, Learning, time tracking and compensation modules within Workday
- Experience with a ticketing system (preferably JIRA) is a plus.
- Previous experience in project management is a plus, or else must be able to prioritise
- Ability to uphold confidentiality at all times
- Able to work autonomously as well as in teams.
- Methodological and solution-oriented
- Customer-centric approach: ability to effectively interact with different stakeholders (including support to end-users)
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal). Additional language(s) will be a plus.
