Job Description

EcoVadis Product and Solutions team, led by our Chief Solutions Officer, is responsible for overseeing the product strategy and prioritization, solution roadmap, and cross-company coordination to drive commercial success of named products and add-ons.
Within the Product and Solutions department, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Competitive and Market Insights Senior Associate to join our Solutions Team. In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting the solutions department by providing valuable insights into market dynamics, competitor activities, and emerging trends. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to EcoVadis's growth and strategic initiatives while making a meaningful impact on sustainability and corporate social responsibility.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct comprehensive and rigorous analysis of competitors' product offerings, with a particular focus on key capabilities and technologies, as well as pricing and positioning
  • Identify competitive strengths and weaknesses, as well as opportunities and threats, to help guide EcoVadis's product and marketing strategies, highlighting key expansion or differentiation opportunities
  • Conduct market research into emerging trends, key opportunities, customer needs and regulatory developments, in order to inform strategic decision making
  • Synthesize findings into actionable insights and recommendations, which includes preparing reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate insights to internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, the portfolio strategy group and the wider solutions team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, sales, and operations, to leverage insights and drive strategic initiatives, and participate in strategic discussions and planning sessions to influence decision-making and drive alignment with market trends and opportunities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, market research, or strategy consulting, preferably within the technology or sustainability sectors
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven recommendations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear and compelling messages for diverse audiences
  • Experience working with competitive intelligence platforms and databases is a plus
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Passion for sustainability and a commitment to EcoVadis's mission is highly desirable
