Job Description

To fuel our expansion and drive market and operational success, we are seeking a dynamic Product Carbon Footprint Manager. In this role you will:

  • Bring expertise for solution design and implementation
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to support sales process and customer success teams
  • Collaborate across the organization to build methodological knowledge and capacity
  • Design and implement internal processes to ensure quality 
  • Stay on top of industry trends and standards
  • Generate insight and thought leadership from supply chain GHG data 
  • When necessary, collaborate with relevant think tanks and peers in product carbon footprint workstreams.

Qualifications

Essential 

  • University degree, ideally at a Master’s level or higher, in a sustainability-related field. In Environmental Sciences or Engineering, Economics or other sustainability-related disciplines. 
  • Advanced knowledge of life cycle analysis (LCA) and product carbon footprinting, gained through at least 3 years work experience
  • Advanced project management skills, from both a technical and administrative standpoint, and proven ability to guide project teams in a multi-stakeholder and multi-geographies context.
  • Proven experience in autonomously creating high-quality written deliverables..
  • Excellent oral and written skills in English.

Desirable 

  • Practical experience in sustainability/climate change strategy development; energy efficiency / GHG management; plastics and water footprinting; and stakeholder engagement and change management.
  • Product management experience is an advantage
  • Good working knowledge of all Google Suite applications and MS Word.
  • Diligent, reliable, proactive and self-sufficient but collaborative approach to work.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced international environment.
  • Advanced prioritization and time management skills.
