Job Description

The Enablement & Solution Consulting team’s mission is to enable action from insight. We are responsible for ensuring customers understand the value and practical application of EcoVadis solutions, so that they can progress on their sustainable procurement journey. We are also responsible for increasing the effectiveness of all Frontline roles (Sales, Customer Success and Services of Engagement) via high adoption of new skills, tools & processes, and of solutions & regulation expertise. A key element of our enablement function is competitive intelligence and programming.

As a Sales Enablement Business Partner, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our sales organization by developing and executing strategies to enable our frontline sales teams. You will collaborate closely with sales leaders, training teams, and cross-functional partners to identify opportunities for improvement, design sales enablement programs, and ensure alignment with business objectives. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, project management skills, and a deep understanding of sales processes and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Strategic Planning:

  • Partner with sales leadership to understand business goals, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps in sales knowledge, skills, and resources.
  • Develop a sales enablement strategy aligned with company objectives and sales priorities.

2.Content Development and Management:

  • Create and curate sales content, including training materials, playbooks, scripts, and sales collateral.
  • Ensure content is up-to-date, relevant, and accessible to the sales team through centralized repositories or learning management systems.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop specialized training modules for product launches, new market expansions, or sales process improvements.

3.Training and Development:

  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance sales capabilities, including product knowledge, objection handling, negotiation skills, and sales methodologies.
  • Partner with sales trainers to facilitate workshops, webinars, and on-demand learning sessions.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives through feedback mechanisms and performance metrics.

4.Sales Process Optimization:

  • Analyze sales processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement.
  • Recommend and implement tools, technologies, or process changes to streamline sales operations and enhance productivity.
  • Collaborate with sales operations teams to ensure seamless integration of sales enablement initiatives with existing systems and processes.

5.Sales Enablement Tools and Technologies:

  • Evaluate, implement, and manage sales enablement tools such as CRM systems, sales engagement platforms, and content management systems.
  • Provide guidance and support to sales teams on the effective use of these tools to drive sales effectiveness and efficiency.

6.Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with marketing, product management, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sales enablement initiatives with broader organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop sales-ready messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies for products and solutions.
  • Work closely with product management to gather insights on market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to inform sales enablement strategies.

7.Performance Measurement and Reporting:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of sales enablement initiatives on sales productivity, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to track progress against KPIs and provide insights to sales leadership.
  • Use data analytics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for further optimization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales operations, or related roles within a SaaS, technology or B2B environment.
  • Deep understanding of sales methodologies, processes, and tools (e.g., CRM, sales engagement platforms, content management systems).
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful sales enablement programs that drive measurable results.
  • Passion for sustainability, supply chain, and sustainable procurement.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence and coordinate with senior leaders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Certifications in sales enablement, project management, or related fields are a plus.
  • Verbal and written fluency in English. Additional languages are a plus.
