EcoVadis Product and Solutions team, led by our Chief Solutions Officer, is responsible for overseeing the product strategy and prioritization, solution roadmap, and cross-company coordination to drive commercial success of named products and add-ons.

Within the Product and Solutions department, Product owners are strongly contributing to discovery in collaboration with product management and are accountable for the delivery phase. In a highly collaborative environment you’ll work closely with an engineering team and take part in brainstorming new ideas, prototyping & continuously validating them against ever-changing market reality as well as Scrum ceremonies (refinement, sprint planning…) to drive the product evolution in completely new ways that couldn’t have been predicted up-front.

In the dynamic realm of our Product and Solutions department, Product Owners play a pivotal role as active collaborators during the product discovery phase. Working closely with the product management team, they are key contributors to uncovering innovative solutions. While being an integral part of the product team, Product Owners engage in close collaboration with engineering teams to bring ideas to life. They actively participate in brainstorming sessions, contribute to prototyping, and continually validate concepts against the dynamic market landscape. Additionally, Product Owners are deeply involved in all Scrum ceremonies, including refinement and sprint planning, adhering to the Scrum methodology. This immersive approach ensures their hands-on involvement in driving product evolution in unforeseen directions, fostering an environment of adaptability and innovation.

We are looking for someone with experience in the SaaS industry. Successful candidates will have a strong foundation in agile methodology as a Product owner. The ability to lead the product delivery and collaborate effectively with engineering and stakeholders is a must. Being able to contribute to discovery and even sometimes lead it is a strong plus.

In this role you will:

• Work closely with product management and actively contribute to product discovery to understand business requirements but also to build vision of module(s) you are in charge of;
• Be accountable for and lead the product delivery of your squad:
  • Be the functional referent of your squad;
  • Manage your backlog based on priorities to deliver the maximum of value;
  • Translate functional, product, or business requirements into user stories;
  • Work closely with stakeholders, users, testers and the development team during the full development life cycle;
  • Work closely with the design team to provide first class interface and user experience;
  • Report status to stakeholders and management on a regular basis to provide transparency.

• Bachelor, Master of Engineering in computer science field or other relevant degree;
• 4+ years of working experience as a product owner ideally in the context of SaaS Web application;
• Strong analytical and organizational skills 
• Preferably knowledge about product discovery techniques;
• Highly professional written and oral communication skills in English as well as interpersonal skills required.
• Culturally sensitive and able to communicate effectively across cross-functional and multi-regions; 
• Proven experience in working with various stakeholders in the business including design and technical teams;
• Proficiency in prioritizing features and tasks based on strategic goals, business impact, and customers
• Proficiency in prioritizing features and tasks based on strategic goals, business impact, and customer needs. The ability to make well-informed decisions to optimize the product roadmap and deliver maximum value;
• In-depth understanding and practical application of Scrum methodology, with hands-on experience in all Scrum ceremonies (refinement, sprint planning, etc.). The ability to adapt and thrive in an agile environment is crucial.
• You show curiosity and possess an appreciation for thinking outside the box;
