Job Description

  • Review applications to ensure that the IT governance policy is met.
  • Establish, maintain and improve a system of records for business applications.
  • Review, maintain and optimize internal policies/processes related to enterprise applications.
  • Participates in the design configuration, problem diagnosis, maintenance, and installation of application systems.
  • Evaluate, deploy, troubleshoot and support business applications for end-users.
  • Manage an array of business applications including security configuration and integrations.
  • Support the Authorization team in establishing the mechanisms and automation for Access Management and User Provisioning on business applications.
  • Propose, devise and implement automations for business applications with the objective to increase efficiency of both support teams and end-users.
  • Work closely with Enterprise Architects to validate use-cases and requirements for new and existing business applications.
  • Work with other teams to support installation, update and maintenance of business applications.
  • Undertake application administration, custom query and report creation, end-user support, training, troubleshooting, and documenting business processes and procedures.
  • Support regular audits on business applications to ensure compliance with security and operational requirements.
  • Participates in testing and installing new software releases and application system upgrades.
  • Analyzes, monitors, and fine-tunes the application system to achieve optimum performance levels.
  • Any other tasks related to this function

 

Qualifications

  • Holder of a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Proven technical experience in managing applications and computer systems.
  • Knowledge in process automation, best practice approach, technology efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Knowledge of Web Services and programming languages like JSON is required.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience using API protocols is a must.
  • Working knowledge of IT service, change and problem management (ITIL Foundation is a plus).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies like Azure, AWS, GCP. Experience is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent organization skills, ability to systematize and prioritize.
  • Attentive focus on end-users and business goals, with ability to translate business needs into IT specifications.
