Job Description

EcoVadis is the world leader in Sustainability Ratings. With 1,000 enterprise customers, 100,000 rated customers and 1M+ screened companies for risk, we are on a mission to guide all companies towards a sustainable world. The Solutions team within EcoVadis led by Chief Solutions Officer is responsible for  overseeing the product strategy and prioritization, solution roadmap, and cross-company coordination to drive commercial success of named products and add-ons. 

Within the Solutions department, EcoVadis Carbon, IQ Plus and New Solutions team is responsible for the development, launch and implementation of Carbon, IQ Plus and new products and services within EcoVadis solutions portfolio. The team is overseen by the VP IQ, Carbon and New Solutions. 

We are looking for a dynamic Solution Manager in the team of the VP IQ, Carbon and New Solutions. 

The Solution Manager will play a key role in our solutions expansion. This position will be responsible for domain expertise and market enablement, and will collaborate closely with Product Managers and UX/UI, and our Tech teams, as well as with key stakeholders in the organization (e.g., Methodology team, Solutions Consulting, CorpDev).

Responsibilities

Domain expertise

  • Bring sustainability risk management and regulatory expertise into solution design and development
  • Be accountable for content developed into product
  • Educate Product and Solutions team on regulatory and compliance topics and contribute regulatory expertise to all EcoVadis Solutions based on insights collected externally (e.g. market research, experts, partners) and internally (e.g., Methodology team, Solutions Consulting, CorpDev)
  • Coordinate with external and internal stakeholders (e.g. market research, experts, partners, Methodology team, Solutions Consulting, CorpDev) to stay on top of industry and market trends and standards
  • Generate insights and thought leadership on sustainability risk management and compliance and coordinate with Solutions Consulting, RevOps and Marketing for the Go-to-market material

Market enablement

  • Bring sustainability risk management and regulatory expertise into developing use cases, partnering with internal stakeholders, in particular Solutions Consulting, RevOps, Marketing, Methodology team
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to train Solutions Consulting teams on new solutions (‘train the trainers’), and for additional support to them for expert deep dive supports for customer success teams
  • Collaborate across the organization to build methodological knowledge and capacity serving the success of the solutions
  • Collaborate with relevant external think tanks and organizations, aligned with EVS Methodology Relations
  • Coordinate with marketing and other relevant stakeholders on the overarching go to market strategy for different product capabilities for the same regulation (e.g. Modern Slavery Acts, LkSG)

 

Qualifications

  • University degree, ideally at a Master’s level or higher, in a sustainability-related field. In Environmental Sciences or Engineering, Economics or other sustainability-related disciplines. 
  • Advanced knowledge of sustainability regulatory landscape
  • Product management experience is an advantage
  • Expertise in Supply Chain and Procurement is a plus
  • Understanding of SaaS platforms is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial mindset  - ability to pursue new and unprecedented opportunities, pushing beyond “the known”, taking bold steps
  • Multitasking & prioritization - ability to handle several responsibilities, work under time constraints, adapt to rapidly changing events and environments, judge priorities, keep track of details.
  • Relationship skills - Ability to listen, Interact well with others, quickly establish rapport, Build relationships, and take account of the needs of multiple stakeholders
  • Market and product - ability to demonstrate comprehensive understanding of product components, design, features and benefits when communicating product features or design and tailoring the message to meet customer needs.
  • Presentation and Communication skills, oral and written - Ability to present information and findings clearly so they can be understood by a variety of audiences with different levels of knowledge and interests.
  • Troubleshooting - ability to resolve issues by diagnosing problems, determining possible resolutions and implementing effective solutions.
