Job Description

Responsibilities:

We are looking for an expert in Workday configuration/administration. The ideal candidate
should be self-reliant but also have strong interpersonal skills, and be able to work in an
international framework. This implies an understanding of the best HR practices worldwide, as well as of more localized requirements. The Workday Administrator will be accountable for the smooth running of our HRIS.

This includes, but is not limited to:
Workday Administration

  •  Understand/Clarify/Document the requirements of various process owners and recommend the best approach in Workday to reach desired outcomes.
  •  Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders (process owners, HR, IT, Finance, etc.) and the vendor (Workday) for the evaluation of features/update releases versus our internal requirements.
  • Be the technical expert for all design, configuration, testing (in sandbox) and deployment of new features/updates and business processes (in live environment).
  • Work with IT team for the integration of Workday with other corporate tools.
  •  Carry out routine administration tasks such as: 
    - The maintenance of features, business processes and integrations;
    - Security, data quality and consistency checks.
  • Ensure Workday is up and running at all times, or else troubleshoot bugs/issues within a reasonable resolution time.
  • Maintain a documentation of all development/updates/bug resolution in Workday.
  • Prepare training manuals for HR Process Leaders and, where applicable, assist them for the (technical) training of end-users.
  • Communicate on updates/releases/bugs to end-users via the appropriate channel.
  • Uphold compliance with ISMS and GDPR (or any other legal) requirements.
  • Respond to queries/requests via the HR ticketing system (JIRA) in a timely manner, and provide support and guidance to end-users.
  • Document incidents/requests/bug resolution and design Standard Operating Procedures to improve resolution time.

Other Responsibilities

  • Where applicable, assist the HR Digitalization team with the configuration, integration and/or optimization of other HR tools, and recommend best practices thereto.
  • Assist HR Business Intelligence team for the computation of HR Metrics as and when required.
  • Be the lead participant for internal/external Audits of our HRIS.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any related field

  • At least two years as a Workday Administrator for an international company

  • Understanding of API connectors is a must

  • Experience with a ticketing system (preferably JIRA) is a plus.

  • Previous experience in project management is a plus, or else must be able to prioritize

  • Ability to uphold confidentiality at all times

  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in the team.

  • Methodological and solution-oriented

  • Customer-centric approach: ability to effectively interact with different stakeholders (including support to end-users)

  • Fluency in English (both written and verbal). Additional language(s) will be a plus.
