As a Senior IT Associate in Infrastructure Support, you will be called to assist our internal users with technical issues or questions relating to the modern workspace services at EcoVadis. This includes but is not restricted to workstations, network and enterprise applications. You will be managing requests and incidents from customers mainly through our service desk and communicating with them through the mentioned tool or over our messaging platforms, helping customers diagnose technical issues and resolving those. You will also lead and train your junior peers pushing towards operational excellence while acting in some situations as a technical lead for complex matters. You would also be responsible for the IT facilities management of the EcoVadis Barcelo office.  As a senior member, you will be called to assist the IT Service Manager on various tasks both on the service desk and on the desktop support functions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide high quality, professional and responsive IT support service to all users across the business on a range of different technologies;
• Support and train end users on solutions managed and maintained by the IT department;
• Be the technical referral for desktop support and other information systems;
• Guide peers on daily tasks, promoting a culture of excellence and efficiency;
• Manage the technical documentation and propose improvements on same;
• Assist in management of service desk, ticketing system and elaboration of SLAs;
• Ensure proper level and quality of service, supervising and leading your peers whenever required;
• Install, test and maintain corporate workstations and office peripherals;
• Troubleshoot system and network problems and solve hardware/software faults in line with guidelines and directives from the Network team;
• Patching network devices, workstations, and phones;
• Monitor WAN/LAN efficiency and take appropriate corrective actions;
• Ensure High-availability of office IT infrastructure;
• Manage end-user account lifecycle on enterprise applications based on recommendations and guidelines from the Authorizations team;
• Manage, monitor and troubleshoot network systems including Firewalls and switches;
• Ensure proper management of IdP based on guidelines of Authorizations teams;
• Manage and Coordinate inventory, stock and purchase of ICT equipment;
• Manage/participate in infrastructure-related projects;
• Collaborate actively on review, design and implementation of IT solutions with various teams;
• Propose enhancement to existing IT procedures;
• Prepare reports on infrastructure support and systems;
• Assist internal and external teams for various audits, including Quality, Information Security and Cyber Security audits.;
• Liaise with suppliers as part of project implementations and operational tasks;
• Assist in management of service desk, ticketing system and elaboration of SLAs.

• Holder of a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent;
• 5+ years work experience in IT Support environment; 
• Excellent knowledge of Operating systems including Windows 10, Linux, Android, macOS;
• Good knowledge of cloud technologies like Azure, AWS. Experience and/or certifications on these platforms is a plus;
• Excellent knowledge of information systems administration and networks;
• Good knowledge of computer networks and network security;
• Experience in network administration is an advantage;
• Proficiency in Google Workspace/GSuite products/Microsoft Office suite;
• Good knowledge and understanding of KPIs and SLAs;
• Excellent organization skills, ability to systematize and prioritize;
• Fluency in English required – written and verbal;
• Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem-solving skills;
• Ability to manage a small team of technical persons for projects or regular operational tasks;
• Project Management experience is a plus;
• ITIL v4 Foundation is a must, ITIL v4 Specialist is a plus;
• Attentive focus on end-users and business goals, with ability to translate business needs into IT specifications;
• Attention to detail;
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal, comfortable leading workshops and presentations;
• Versatile and multitasking.
