Job Description

The role would be key for sustaining EcoVadis hypergrowth, as part of both Architecture and Salesforce teams. As our company evolves, we are changing Salesforce within our organization, transforming its role from a standalone Sales Cloud SaaS to a multi-cloud PaaS integrated with our core platforms. We need you to:

  • Participate in building long-term strategic roadmap of Salesforce Platform within the company, together with Salesforce team members, Product team and other architects within the organization
  • Advise stakeholders, both business and technical, within and outside of Salesforce team, on Salesforce Platform capabilities & best practices, to continuously improve and get most value for the business
  • Improve our Salesforce governance practices, i.e. by leading and contributing to newly formalized Design Authority, formalizing environment architecture & org strategy, helping to grow DevOps culture
  • Develop and maintain policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure that a consistent framework is applied across Salesforce Platform
  • Identify discrepancies between the Salesforce technical architecture agreed practices and systems designs proposed by project teams; applies to both internal teams and external vendors
  • Monitor new technological advances in Salesforce platform and assist project teams in reducing technical debt
  • Explore and validate new solutions on Salesforce Platform, including the ones from Salesforce and ISVs that are Salesforce native or integrate with Salesforce - based on business requirements and/or own research
  • Partner with IT team members to ensure architecture aligns with security strategy/policies and to provide a consensus-based scalable and adaptable architectural solution

Qualifications

  • Very good knowledge of Salesforce Platform in general, with multiple clouds (i.e. Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud) and platform foundational capabilities
  • At least 5 years focusing on architecture
  • Strong focus on data & integration design, knowledge of various integration patterns
  • Broad understanding of technical aspects of Salesforce & beyond, including solution maintainability, performance and security
  • Experience with all stages of SDLC - from building vision & strategy, through a vendor selection process in some projects, technical design, assisting implementation teams & troubleshooting issues
  • Good stakeholder management skills; proficiency in verbal and written communication
  • Pragmatic approach to governance & application portfolio rationalization
  • Must be a team player, but with a high degree of self-organization
  • Salesforce certifications, especially from architect pathway would be a plus

Location: Warsaw/Remote from Poland

The role would be reporting to the Enterprise Architecture team, but working with our Salesforce Team 80% of their time.
